    Saturday - WORKSHOPS

The workshops will be running on Saturday Afternoon at the Baptist Church Hall (on the First Floor above the Folkfest Office): ENTRANCE IS FREE.

2pm-3pm: Concertina workshop with Steve Turner. Song accompaniment - all systems. Learn from the master. Nice and Squeezy does it!

3pm-4pm: Guitar Workshop with Phil King. Acoustic Blues - how to mix up your blues with different voicings and chord progressions. Phil will fill you in!

4pm-5pm: Drum Workshop with Angela Wicks: Room for lots of you in this one. Anyone can have a go, whatever you age. Angela is more “Practical and less Theory” so sit in and let the rhythms do the talking. Angela may also be asking you to join her on stage on Sunday in Manor gardens when she will be performing with lots of you in a slot between acts at Folk in the Park.
